POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides care and comfort measures to patients requiring acute mental health care under Registered Nurse supervision. Performs specific patient care as assigned and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Keeps patient care areas, equipment and supplies clean and tidy. Replenish stocks and supplies to keep supplies readily available. You may be required to work beyond your normal duty shift or in another patient care unit assigned by your department head or nursing supervisor.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education, and work knowledge/experience):

High school diploma or equivalent Recent mental health care experience preferred Current BLS certification Effective oral and written English language communication skills Visual and auditory senses must be adequate to detect changes in human physiological conditions Able to function calmly in a busy and stressful environment Completing a successful Florida Protective Services Background Check
