Medtronic and DaVita Launch Mozarc for Kidney Health Solutions

Medtronic and DaVita have launched Mozarc Medical, a new independent company aiming to reshape kidney health and advance patient-centric technology solutions.

In addition to Manda, a 28-year Medtronic veteran, the former RCS leadership team also transitioned to serve as the leadership team of Mozarc Medical.

Under the terms of the deal, which was announced last year, Mozarc Medical is co-owned by Medtronic and DaVita, each with equal capital shares. During the first three quarters of Medtronic’s fiscal 2023, the RCS business reported revenue of $64 million, $63 million, and $70 million, respectively.
