How can I change my username if I created an account with my Google Account or Apple ID? – Reddit help

[ad_1]

If you created your Reddit account by logging in with your Google Account or Apple ID, you were automatically assigned a username and you have 30 days to change it.

Changing your username is a little different depending on which platform you’re using.

On reddit.com: Log into your Reddit account and click on your username in the upper right corner of the screen. You will be asked if you want to keep your current username or change it. If you don’t see the option to change your username, you may have accidentally chosen to keep your current username, or it may have been more than 30 days since you created your account. On the Android or iOS app: Log into your Reddit account and tap your avatar to open your profile menu and select My Profile. You will be asked if you want to keep your current username or change it. If you don’t see the option to change your username, you may have accidentally chosen to keep your current username, or it may have been more than 30 days since you updated your account.

If you have other questions that aren’t covered in this FAQ, take a look at ar/help. Someone may have had the same question, or you can ask a new one and a Reddit admin or one of your fellow redditors will help.
