A Place In The Sun presenter Laura Hamilton was rushed to hospital after having a bad reaction to her second coronavirus vaccine.
The guest shared a snapshot as he recovered in the ER, wearing a black mask for the hospital visit.
Taking on Instagram, the 39-year-old explained that she developed bloodstains after the injection and wanted to be checked to be safe as she suffers from ITP Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura.
The Medical Healthcare Products and Regulatory Agency reiterated that the benefits of vaccines outweigh the risks for most people, while Prime Minister Boris Johnson and NHS England Primary Care Medical Director Dr Nikita Kanani also assured people that they are safe.
It was supposed to be @corinthialondon for afternoon tea against breast cancer, she captioned the post about her story.

In another story, Laura praised the staff who helped her, writing: Thanks for your kind wishes! The NHS is really GREAT!
I developed some bloodstains after my second Covid injection and to be safe (due to my ITP) I was advised to go to the hospital.
I had blood tests and checks and I was given the green light!
Laura didn’t share which jab she was given and added the hashtags: #amazingnhs #besafe #itp.
ITP is an autoimmune condition that causes the body’s immune system to destroy platelets.

Without enough platelets in the blood, people are likely to bruise easily or may not be able to stop the bleeding if they cut themselves.
As with all vaccination programs, a small number of people can have an adverse reaction, although rarely anything worse than a mild case of the virus itself.
Laura’s post comes after her return from Portugal, where she flew to film new episodes for A Place In The Sun.
The star shared a snapshot as she prepared to fly away, sharing her gratitude for being able to travel overseas in the midst of the pandemic.
