Former Google employee Taras Kobernyk is putting up with it after being fired by the tech giant for questioning corporate equity training.
Kobernyk has since written a memo exposing what concerned him while working for the Big Tech giant and on Wednesday told “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that this includes racial “harmful” behavior.
“In my memo, I just tried to list several things I encountered during my time at Google. Things I didn’t think were right, that were disruptive and harmful in the long run for race relationships as well,” he said. “So Google was basically undermining the things it needed to improve.”

The former employee explained that writing workplace concerns was a commonly used expression method at Google, which his manager encouraged him to do after speaking out against equity training.
But after filing his concerns in writing, Kobernyk was immediately asked to remove his document as it had been marked as “inappropriate” and “offensive”.
“In the end, I refused to delete the document and that’s when Google fired me.”
“I was verbally told that some sections of the document questioned the life experiences of people of color in criticizing colleagues or even that I was using the word genetics in the racial context,” he explained.

Kobernyk said he was a little surprised that Google took the extreme measure of letting it go when they had the opportunity to manage and “bury” the whole situation instead of letting it swell.
