Microsoft unveiled a number of new Xbox titles at the world’s premier video game show on Sunday, including the award-winning phenomenon Hades and long-time hit Halo.

Microsoft has revealed an upcoming version of the beloved Halo game, along with new titles such as the sci-fi action game Starfield and a vampire-fighting adventure called Redfall from producer Bethesda Softworks, such as Fallout and Elder Scrolls, which Microsoft recently acquired.
As the trailers showed tense battles and rich graphics of the games, Microsoft pointed out that all but a few would be available for the game on its Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
The company also highlighted titles that will be exclusive to Xbox, which competes with rival consoles Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

The award-winning Hades, of San Francisco-based Supergiant, will arrive on Xbox and PlayStation, the independent studio said Sunday.
So far Hades has only been available for play on personal computers and Switches.
Hades, who won five awards at the prestigious British BAFTA Games Awards this year, is a dungeon crawler that challenges players to make their way through the underworld.

The line-up of new titles comes as Microsoft develops software and a plug-in device that will allow people to play Xbox video games on Internet-connected TVs without the need for a console.
As a company, Microsoft is all-in on games, CEO Satya Nadella said during the plan’s introduction last week.
It also announced that cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions via Chrome, Edge and Safari internet browsers will be available in the coming weeks.
