In fact, a subsequent thermal scan revealed that the area between the tip of Morton’s nose and lip was “completely white, meaning it was ice cold and no blood coming,” said the unfortunate recipient of the filler. They suspected that her skin death was caused by the filler blocking a blood vessel during the failed beautification procedure.
Worse still, doctors feared Morton might lose his upper lip and nose tip if they didn’t act immediately.

To save her face, doctors gave Morton drugs and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which she underwent every day for a full month since the appointment.
Morton is currently in stable condition, although Liverpool say the necrosis has left her with permanent scars on her face. It is also not sure if it will regain any color in the area.

“I’m usually a very confident girl, but I haven’t wanted to leave my house for the past six weeks,” Morton complained. “My anxiety was skyrocketing and I was so stressed about everything.”
He concluded: “I would never fill my nose again. It’s not worth the risk.
In the past, failed filler infusions have resulted in blindness and even inflammation in recipients of the Moderna COVID vaccine.
However, fillers aren’t the only seemingly harmless procedure to cause a serious medical condition. Earlier this week, a California man was ravaged on his face by carnivorous bacteria after accidentally using his roommate’s razor.
