Scorpion, Jobber Add Google Local Services Ad Booking Tool

Many see Google’s local service ads as a game changer in the local area. One of the main reasons is the additional level of trust they provide to consumers.

This is because local professionals must qualify for the Google Guaranteed program before they can run LSA. The program requires service professionals to undergo a background check, which results in Google guaranteeing performance in excess of $ 2,000. Another is that LSAs are a pay-per-lead model, which makes LSAs a cost-effective alternative to pay-per-click for local service professionals.

LSAs also rank based on reviews and proximity, which is great for consumers. Plus, it rewards service professionals who deliver a quality customer experience.

Two companies immersed in the local and domestic services space announced integration deals with Google that involve a new booking solution tied to local service ads. This new feature will likely help local service professionals convert more leads. And it’s another sign that Google is processing more and more transactions without the consumer ever leaving their environment.

Digital marketing platform Scorpion announced last week that it will be the first full-service agency to offer Google’s local service ad booking feature. This tool allows guaranteed service professionals to offer appointment booking to their clients. The feature is provided by Book with Google.

“Everything we do at Scorpion is focused on keeping our local business clients at the forefront of digital marketing trends so they can maintain their competitive edge and generate new and repeat customers,” said Mike Chertudi, Chief Revenue Officer at Scorpion. “This strategic partnership shows our dedication to making that happen. And we’re excited to provide our customers with new capabilities that positively impact their bottom line and the communities they serve. ”

Jobber implements a similar integration

In May, the Jobber business management platform also entered into an agreement with Google regarding the planning tool. Here’s how Jobber sums up the deal.

By integrating with Google Local Services Ads, Jobber customers, including HVAC technicians, residential cleaners, landscapers and plumbers, can better attract new local customers looking for services in their area. Service providers only pay if a customer books a job through the ad.

Jobber is like a super app for service professionals. The company’s platform offers messaging, payments, project management, CRM, route optimization, and more. Two partners with very different backgrounds launched Jobber in 2011. One of the founders was a software developer. The other a painter. I can’t imagine a better combination to create a product that addresses real pain points for service providers.

Many small business owners are on the go for most of the day and can’t respond quickly to new leads, resulting in lost revenue and a bad customer experience, said Sam Pillar, Jobber’s co-founder and CEO.

By integrating with Google Local Services Ads, Jobber users won’t have to worry about hindering the booking process and losing high-quality leads. Instead, new jobs can be automatically booked directly into their calendars. The integration also makes the booking process simpler and more modern for homeowners, so they can book services with confidence.
