Destiny 2 players are not expected to purchase codes for the upcoming Spicy Ramen Coupon emblem, according to Bungie senior community manager Dylan dmg04 Gafner. The item will be a free gift from Bungie next month, dmg04 revealed after scalpers started selling the emblem before it was officially released.
It’s unclear how the sellers got the emblem, but the paid codes will become obsolete early next month. Bungie will award the emblem to its player base as part of the Bungie Day celebrations, which will take place on July 7th.
Don’t buy the spicy Ramen coupon emblem.
It’s meant to be a free Bungie Day gift from us to you.
Dataminer: Please stop spoiling content, be it stories or emblem codes. I know it can be exciting to be the first person with interesting information, but please respect the fun.

Dmg04 also asked data miners to stop spoilers. I know it can be exciting to be the first person with interesting information, but please respect the fun, she wrote.
Players had previously discovered the emblem’s existence via the Bungie API, but the files did not specify its source, according to fateemblemcollector.com (the website only lists it as unlocked by a special offer). Bungie allows players to sign up for API access, which leads to a series of first results of all kinds, from a first look at the upcoming emblems to complete lore texts for the entire season.
The upcoming gift is a nod to Cayde-6, one of the most popular characters in the Destiny franchise. After his death in Forsaken, Bungie directed players to the Ramen Shop in the Tower, where they could receive an expired coupon for a spicy gag ramena gift from Cayde himself.
