Will Halo Infinite be postponed? The Xbox boss answers the doubts about the release date

[ad_1]

Is Halo Infinite running late? The release date of the next Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC game was on the minds of many Halo fans after E3 2021, where Halo Infinite was shown once again, but not with a date of Exit. However, while Xbox and 343 Industries are shy about when exactly the new Halo game will come out, they stick to the holiday 2021 release window.

During a recent interview with Dropped Frames, Xbox boss Phil Spencer addressed some of the concerns that the game will be delayed, noting that the title doesn’t have a final date, but it’s not because a delay of months is possible, but because it is. a delay of a few weeks is possible. However, Spencer and co. I want to avoid a postponement at all costs, even if only for a few weeks and not to 2022.

“For us, we know a little about our three, four week range … we don’t have the exact day yet,” Spencer said. “There are a few other things, with some other game times that we’re trying to look at. We’ll have more clarity this summer. This isn’t a month things, it’s just a few weeks. And so we’re like, ‘ok, rather than choosing this date and having to move it by a week, which at this point would seem a failure, we don’t want to do it, we are waiting to be really precise on what the date is. But the team is very busy for the holiday [window], we feel good about it. “

As you can see, Spencer leaves the door open for a while, but it looks like if everything goes as planned, the game will release this holiday window, likely a few weeks before or after Forza Horizon 5, which is out on November 9, 2021.

Halo Infinite is officially scheduled to be released during the holiday season via Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
