Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong now points to February 2022

Mysteries still await

TheSwansong will come a little later. Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong has set a new launch window for February 2022, shifted from its original goal this year.

Announced during today’s Nacon Connect stream, Council developer Big Bad Wolf’s narrative adventure is taking a little more time. While we caught a glimpse of footage of the beta gameplay today, similar to another recent trailer, it looks like it will take some time before we can play it on our own.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansongis is set in the city of Boston and follows three playable characters as their stories shape the fate of the city. Today’s trailer showed Galeb, an ancient vampire who has amassed wealth and power, even though he’s still looking for something.

This is also a separate project from Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, which lost its developer and was expelled from 2021. With Swansong taking a little more time to develop, it seems like my hopes for some of the narrative fun of Vampire: The Masquera in 2021 are completely sold out. Time to reinstall Bloodlines.
