[ad_1]

This week we take a look at some new details released on Pokemon GO Fest 2021, specifically the new set of Pikachu monsters that you will be able to obtain during this event. If you’re playing right now, you’ll likely see some Pikachu flying around town, complete with a 5-shaped balloon. This is just one of a wild collection coming to the festival in the coming weeks!

Tickets required

If you are attending Pokemon GO Fest 2021 on July 17th, we recommend purchasing a ticket. Ticket holders will have access to special research which will allow you to choose Pikachu Rock Star with METEOR MASH (charge move). You may also get a Pikachu Pop Star with DRAINING KISS (charge move).

On July 17th, you will find Rock Star and Pop Star Pikachu appearing in instant images and in-kind based on your choices. Special Research will deliver Flygon with EARTH POWER and Gardevoir with SYNCHRONOISE on July 18th. Both of these advanced Pokemon will also appear more often if you drop Incense.

Avatar items in the in-game store will appear with a ticket: Whismur, Exploud and Loudred-themed t-shirts, new “face stickers” and a backpack with guitar case. These will still cost you an extra: if you complete the special research, you will receive a Meloetta t-shirt “for free”.

Tickets or not tickets

Pikachu will appear with a Meloetta-inspired hat! The times of the event on Saturday and Sunday, July 17 and 18, will deliver the Meloetta Pikachu hat to the public. This monster can be Shiny!

This event will also include 1-star raids with potentially brilliant Seino and Galarian Ponyta and Galarian Zigzagoon. Both of these masked Pokemon will also have the Meloetta hat! There will also be 3-star raids with Galarian Weezing, Hitmontop and Cranidos.

Stand by as we learn more about this series of events and keep your eyes peeled for Pikachu. There will be more masked Pikachu out there with fancy hats and rock, pop and musical outfits than you can shake a stick!
