The real-life version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla dice game Orlog surpasses its Kickstarter goal, bringing it closer to full release.

The real version of PureArts of Assassins Creed: Valhallas Orlog has just passed its initial Kickstarter goal. The dice-based minigame is just one of the many side activities that players can enjoy in Ubisoft’s latest story-based action-adventure title, which puts them in the shoes of a Viking clan leader as they struggle to build a new home in the islands. British in the years 872 to 878 AD

Orlog pits two players against each other in a battle to drain their opponents’ life total using strategic dice rolls, and players can invoke special Favors of God to turn the odds in their favor. While the game itself is not necessarily based on an actual game from the Middle Ages, it has been found that craps and other games of chance have actually played an important role in society since the Iron Age. Nowadays, Ubisoft has partnered with PureArts (who have made official figures and other products for games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Resident Evil 2) to make a real version of Orlog not long after Assassins Creed Valhallas released last year November.

Now the PureArt version of Orlog is closer than ever to release, as the company announced it surpassed its original Kickstarter goal of $ 60,239 earlier today on the Orlog project page. Among the many special bonuses offered for those who donate there is a replica of a Viking horn, an Orlog playmat in linen fabric, real stone health tokens, metal game coins, a linen fabric bag for all the game pieces and glow in the -dark Orlog dice – that PureArts marketing director Dan Richard showed in more detail as he thanked fans for their support. Watch a video of him explaining the rules of Orlog, as played in Assassins Creed: Valhalla, in the YouTube clip below:

Video games are a natural choice for tabletop board games, as evidenced by hits like Bloodborne: The Card Game and Fallout: The Board Game. A more recent Kickstarter project has added The Witcher to the list of popular gaming franchises that have gotten the treat with cards and dice, as the Go On Boards The Witcher: Old World tabletop RPG exceeded its fundraising goal. last month.

Side-by-side minigames like Assassins Creed: Valhallas Orlog and Gwent from The Witcher 3 are fun distractions in and of themselves and translate quite easily into physical board games. It’s still unclear when the PureArtss Assassins Creed: Valhalla Orlog game will be released, but it may not take long given the speed at which its Kickstarter is surpassing its goals.
