Spex Capital, an investment firm in the field of digital health and medical technology, has joined forces with MedCity to identify and fund promising healthcare technology initiatives, accelerating their path to commercialization and adoption in healthcare systems at global level.
The exclusive partnership will support several calls for innovative companies seeking investment, with the first call launched in September focusing on companies wishing to base and top-tier investments.
As the life sciences cluster organization for London, MedCity has established relationships across the UK ecosystem and with international life sciences clusters. As part of the new partnership with Spex Capital, MedCity will use its vast networks and expertise to attract applications from investment-ready companies developing innovative healthcare and medtech technologies.
The investment firm will invest in the most profitable of these companies, and with a fundraising goal of 100 million, Spex Capital will truly implement the change in digital healthcare. The most promising companies will be offered tickets between 500k and 5 million.
Founded in 2021 by health technology serial entrepreneur Claudio DAngelo, London-based Spex Capital already has a portfolio of seven high-growth companies.
