Retired sailor responds to Fort Benning commanding general who “woke him up” who attacked him for vaccine criticism

Retired Sailor Josiah Lippincott, who is currently a student at Hillsdale College in Mich., Responded Tuesday after a US Army General used his official Twitter account to call the college to “come get him” after he ‘he publicly disagreed with the general’s account of the coronavirus vaccines.

Lippincott joined “The Ingraham Angle” to meet Major General Patrick Donahoe, commander of Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia.

On July 22, Donahoe said he would make the coronavirus vaccine mandatory if he had the power, citing a reported increase in intensive care visits by young soldiers due to infection.

Lippincott responded that the Pentagon has lost a total of 26 people to the virus out of an estimated 2 million, while military suicides have increased year over year by that same figure of 26.

Donahoe went on to accuse Lippincott of engaging in “false equivalence” and downplaying the importance of the vaccine, before tweeting on Hillsdale’s official account, “Come and get your boy.”

Donahoe has since appeared to make the tweet private.

“I want to be very clear, these guys are wide awake losers who like to undo culture and they can’t see reality,” Lippincott told host Laura Ingraham. “These guys spent 20 years in Afghanistan, spent $ 2.4 trillion in US tax dollars, we lost 2300 troops and we left Bagram Air Base in the middle of the night.”

“America should be angry, it should demand answers,” he said, highlighting Donahoe’s stature as one of the military’s best officers.

Ingraham noted that Donahoe has repeatedly taken a hard line against the military reluctant to vaccinate under his command from Fort Benning.

She broadcast snippets of video orders he gave banning Fort Benning staff from eating at indoor restaurants in Columbus, as well as visiting “indoor gyms.”

Lippincott went on to suggest that instead of the Democrats’ Jan.6 committee they should investigate the wars in the Middle East and have generals like Donahoe testify about what they did during the two decades they were there.

“This disconnection from reality has been around for a long time and it must be held responsible,” he said. “We have 906 admirals and generals in our army, and it’s an increasingly bloated group, as well as an ideologically similar group.”
