MOUNT LAUREL, New Jersey (WPVI) – A New Jersey woman who was caught on camera launching a racist rant at a Burlington County hotel will remain in jail until her trial in September.

Elizabeth Trzeciak, 46, of South River, was arrested after she was filmed shouting insults at the receptionist at Motel 8 in Mount Laurel.

She showed up at reception around 12:30 am on Monday July 19, shouting at the front desk clerk and using the n word several times.

“Listen, you *****, call me, black man. Call me,” she shouts.

About 30 seconds after the start of the recording, she throws an artificial plant and a container of disinfectant before running away.

The man recording the video is a 21-year-old employee.

Mount Laurel Police said initially Trzeciak, who was staying at a nearby hotel, appeared to be intoxicated and was handed over to a family member.

But when the video later surfaced, police charged her with intimidation, simple assault and harassment.

This incident follows another incident of bias earlier this month, also in Mount Laurel.

Protesters showed up at the home of Edward Cagney Matthews, who was arrested after a racist tirade against a neighbor was filmed.
