Over the weekend, popular character artist Hema made sensational allegations against actor Naresh, who is the current president of the Movie Artists Association (MAA). Hema also sent voice messages to nearly 200 MAA members and attempted to collect their signatures to support MAA polls.

Embezzling MAA funds, Naresh said, “According to Hema, there was a sum of Rs 4.75 crore in the MAA treasury. But every penny has been used for the welfare of MAA members. We have helped those infected with Corona and have even spoken to hospitals about getting a bed if a patient’s condition is severe. From the funds that Hema claimed there would be no money for future needs, we raised around Rs 84 Lakh through membership, Jeevitha donated Rs 10 Lakh, I collected Rs 14 Lakh from my friends. So we have continuously funded the MAA treasury and there is no drought for that. “

Hema also commented on the MAA elections and Naresh replied that “on July 29, the executive committee meeting was held in virtual mode as in the discipline and reconciliation committee, there are elders. Considering their age and state of health, the meeting took place in virtual mode. Regarding the elections, based on the Supreme Court and High Court election judgment that would impose murder charges, there is a bit of a backlog. But another executive committee meeting is scheduled for August 22 and then we will decide on the elections, ”Naresh added.

Regarding funds, Naresh showed a letter allegedly sent by Megastar Chiranjeevi. I received a letter of appreciation from Chiranjeevi garu. Regardless of the funds, through the insurance companies, we ensured that the families of the actors who died due to Corona receive the money within 24 hours.
