Saturday Night Live Alum Horatio Sanz denies ridiculous sexual assault allegations amid trial

Saturday Night Live alumnus Horatio Sanz has denied the sexual assault allegations made against him in a new trial.

The 52-year-old comedian is being pursued by a woman from Pennsylvania who claims Sanz started grooming her when she was underage and sexually assaulted her when she was 17.

Sanz’s lawyer told TMZ that the woman’s accusations were categorically false and ridiculous.

Before filing this complaint anonymously, she demanded $ 7.5 million in exchange for her silence. We have of course refused and will vigorously contest these completely unfounded allegations, the lawyer said in a statement.

In the lawsuit, the accuser claimed she started chatting with Sanz when she was 15 while running an SNL fan website. She accused Sanz of treating her while sending flirtatious and sexual messages.

The accuser, who filed a lawsuit as Jane Doe, claimed that Sanz sexually assaulted her in May 2002 after getting her drunk at several SNL parties. The woman alleged that NBC should have known about the actors’ inappropriate behavior, but never berated Sanz.

The accuser is suing Horatio, SNL Studios and NBCUniversal for damages. After her assault, the woman said she was ashamed and had become depressed. She then began to self-medicate with dissociative drugs before being hospitalized for treatment.

The accuser claimed to have met Sanz in 2019 at a comedy event in New York City, where he confessed to having cybersex with her as a minor.

She then revealed that Sanz admitted he felt guilty for his inappropriate behavior and promised that he had changed.

The allegations predate the September release of the movie Clifford the Big Red Dog. Sanz plays Raul, one of the men who work in a bodega in the Cliffords district.
