Former MTV “Teen Mom 2” Chelsea Houska DeBoer has been criticized by some fans after sharing a new photo on Instagram.

‘Teen Mom 2’ alumnus Chelsea Houska DeBoer has been criticized by some fans after sharing a new photo of her farm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, via Instagram on August 19.

The former MTV star took pride in the exterior of her home. “It’s your sign to paint your house black,” she captioned the photo, which showed her house construction completed and the barn that came with it.

A debate has ignited among fans. While some people liked the exterior of the house, others said it could get too hot in the summer and some were concerned that bird droppings would show easily on the vinyl siding.

“The Chelsea house looks like the spooky haunted house that a family of idiots move into in a horror movie,” one person wrote on Reddit, sharing a screenshot of Houska’s post.

Some people defended Houska’s black house

The update garnered hundreds of comments and upvotes from subscribers on the “Teen Mom” subreddit, and many fans have come to Houska’s defense.

“Damn, I’m not even going to lie, it’s a beautiful house. I didn’t like her because of the easy and privileged life she had. And frankly, I wasn’t sure about my own life, but it’s a beautiful house, ”wrote one commentator. “It’s good for her to be able to raise her family in such a beautiful house. Seriously.”

“I had no idea black houses existed, I think hers is the first I saw,” added another. “I doubt I’ve ever made myself a custom black, but I especially like hers because of the horror-movie vibe from the outside.”

One of the most popular comments came from someone worried about the “logistics” of the house. “I’m more concerned with the logistics of having a black house in the middle of an empty field,” they noted. “They must spend a fortune to cool this house in the summer. “

Houska is in the middle of a 75 day challenge

After welcoming her fourth baby in February, Houska revealed in early August that she was embarking on a 75-day challenge to improve her health.

Some of the things she does are daily workouts, drink a gallon of water a day, and limit her alcohol intake.

Houska, 29, has always shown off her exercise routines. She enjoys riding her Platoon with instructors like Cody Rigsby and posts photos and videos on Instagram Stories.

Houska is also good at sharing her diet. For snacks, she likes to have hard-boiled eggs with hot sauce and the air fryer has been her go-to for making healthy dinners.

Houska and her husband, Cole DeBoer, have four children together: Aubree, 11, Watson, 4, Layne, 2, and Walker June, 6 months. Aubree is Houska’s child from a previous relationship with ex-boyfriend Adam Lind.

The DeBoer family left the “Teen Mom” franchise in November 2020, claiming that the real reason she left MTV was because of her eldest daughter.

“There was just a moment – and I think it was almost a build-up – this feeling in my guts, or in my heart, I guess. I just didn’t feel like I was supposed to be on this show anymore, ”she told E! News.

“There were conversations Aubree and I would have from time to time, and there came a time when I was just worried because I don’t want her to ever be like, she can’t tell me things. because it’s going to be broadcast to millions of people or whatever, ”added the mother of four.
