LAHORE: The PML-N has rejected new allegations of corruption brought against party chairman and opposition leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif by the NAB.

PML-N spokeswoman Marriyum Aurangzeb categorically rejected the NAB and government allegations and said that in the past three years, every allegation by Prime Minister Imran Khan against Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif has is proven to be false and without any proof.

Marriyum said Shehbaz brought relief to farmers, workers and the masses by making decisions in the interest of the people. Shehbaz filed a libel suit against Imran Khan, but he ran away and couldn’t testify and apologized and now says Shehbaz should withdraw the case, she added. She said the day of real accountability was approaching and Imran Khan, Shehzad Akbar and other prime minister touts would not find a place to hide.
