The NFL awkwardly alluded to Deshaun Watsons’ sexual assault allegations during a video celebrating quarterback status as one of the league’s best players.
Watson, who is currently the subject of 22 civil lawsuits and 10 criminal complaints from massage therapists alleging sexual assault, was voted No.18 on the league’s annual top 100 list as voted by the players.
No one knows when Deshaun Watson will return to the pitch, the narrator says as highlights for the 25-year-old for the 2020 season are displayed.
His future is uncertain, but his talent is undisputed, the 87-second video continues, ending with, Skill Is No Mystery, almost everything else is.

The video did not feature interviews of standard players, peers and teammates.
Watson, who has denied all of the allegations, has not been suspended or sanctioned by the NFL since the sexual assault allegations became public in March, and continues to train with the team in training camp .
The QB franchise requested a trade in Houston in January as he was reportedly frustrated with the organization not including him in major team decisions.
Last week, NFL Network insider Ian Rapaport reported that the Texans had started making business offers for the triple Pro Bowler.
Watson is yet to play in a preseason game, and earlier this month he was oddly listed as the fourth-string quarterback on the Texans’ unofficial depth chart.
Quite simply, he can do things on the football field that few others cannot, the NFLs Top 100 video said of Watson.
In 2020, Watson led the NFL with a career-high 4,823 passing yards. He also threw a career-high 33 touchdowns.
