WATCH THE SQUIRMI It will be interesting to hear how Justin Trudeau manages to blame Stephen Harper for his pitiful performance in saving Afghan performers. They should have been brought to Canada when it was safe HELEN GURNSEY (Too busy playing election games.)

DEAR LEADERS VOICE Jessica Dale-Walker is clearly a chip from the old bloc. Calgary Liberal candidate Nosehill is the personification of the perception of the PMs of Alberta. Like her dear leader, she believes our province is a whining and authorized member of the Canadian Confederation, which currently enjoys a fair deal and that we should just fit in or out of it. Albertans would like to suggest that after her Sept. 20 humiliation at the polls, Ms Dale-Walker should decide whether she wants to fit in or out. Most Albertans would vote for the latter. AL WILLEY (One of those weird new citizens that we have in these areas that seem very anti-Alberta.)

RUN ON OUR DIMEI see George Chahal run for Liberal candidate in Calgary Skyview. I also note that he still receives a paycheck from the taxpayers of Calgary. The gathering with Justin Trudeau at the Whitehorn Community Hall was by invitation only. If he loses by obtaining a federal seat, he also has time to represent himself as a municipal councilor. Is this openness and transparency that we can expect from him in the future? HERBERT PIERCE (And other councilors show up at town hall or at their own headquarters while being paid by taxpayers.)

A GOOD PUNNING By deploying puns as excruciating as she-covery and she-cession, Prime Minister Justin Trudeaus has crossed the province of children’s literature. Hers are like a lame attempt to imitate the old Winnie the Pooh fable on a blustery day. A new word, it seems to me, is needed to describe such an action, to express the feeling of having been intellectually assaulted by such a crass play on words. What about to give a boost? As in, Canadians have just received another pun from their Prime Minister. Or, punster? As in, Justin Trudeau imagines quite the pun! OREST SLEPOKURA (No more nonsense from the man supposed to inspire us.)

SILENCE IS TALKING Justin Trudeau has been traveling and promising a lot lately across Canada. It’s called campaigning, but it’s really just empty promises and false hopes. Trudeau never mentioned anything about his plans for the Great Reset. Ask yourself why? It is time for Canada to reset Trudeau and vote completely out of Parliament. No minority government, just the door. It would be so fitting to see Trudeau lose his own riding. Canadians from coast to coast to coast have finally been waking up from deep sleep since 2015. ROLLY KLAEPATZ (He knows this Big Reset nonsense would rightly scare Canadians. Talk about a hidden agenda)

CRAP’S COMMENTS I didn’t like the editors’ comments in the letters to the editor of the Sunday Newspaper.IVY GRAY (Sorry, Ivy. We’ll try harder.)
