Popular Minecraft YouTuber and streamer Carson King, widely known as CallmeCarson, posted a video detailing his future plans for the first time since he was charged with grooming in January 2021.
In the 1.5-minute video, Carson explained that he plans to return to streaming and content creation, with 100% of the proceeds going to charity for the next year.
He said he is not seeking forgiveness, nor is he looking for excuses for his actions, which came to light earlier this year. In January, grooming allegations were made in which Carson allegedly had sexual conversations with a 17-year-old when he was 19.
After the initial accusations, more and more voices spoke out against the creator, including Slimecicle, another former Lunch Club Minecraft creator, who said all of the band members severed ties with Carson after admitting to having sent and received nude photos of a girl who he said was 17.
Carson said his year of charity will begin in September and all profits for the month will go to the Games For Love charity. Each month, the streamer will select a different charity. He claims this will turn a negative situation with a lot of eyes on it into something positive that can help a lot of people.
Her first official comeback stream will be on September 1 at 11 a.m.
