Katie Price has responded to allegations she had separated from fiancé Carl Woods.

The former glamor model reportedly told her friends she was “newly single” at the National Television Awards on Thursday night, fueling speculation about her engagement to Carl.

Katie and Carl had announced their engagement in April, with the car salesman asking the question with a diamond ring following their whirlwind romance.

However, just five months later, it was rumored that the engagement was over with an NTA guest alleging that Katie was bragging about ditching the car salesman.

Hours after the report was published, Katie took to her social media to explode the claims.

Taking inspiration from her story on Instagram, Katie wrote, “It’s such a shame. Having such a good night with these horrible stories about me coming out.

“I actually never went out and said I dumped Carl. It’s not true,” she said.

“I was actually with my son Harvey. I wish people would leave me a Carl alone. [sic], “she added.

Katie had attended the glitzy showbiz night with her 19-year-old son after the couple were nominated for Best Author’s Documentary.

After walking the red carpet together, Katie’s night ended with the disappointment she lost to Kate Garraway in the hotly contested category.

Katie and Harvey had been nominated for the BBC documentary Katie Price: Harvey and Me while Kate won the trophy for her unique special Finding Derek, which focused on her husband Derek Draper’s battle with Covid.

After the ceremony, Katie reportedly went to an afterparty where another guest claimed to have heard her disclose that her year-long romance with Carl was over.

The source told The Sun: “She was telling people, I’m single, I dumped him and I was clearly focused on moving on.

“They had been rowing constantly, and she said the shed had had enough.

“She said she was back at her West Sussex home even though it was not fully furnished yet. But she was adamant she would not be going home. As far as she is concerned, it’s over.” , they said.

In addition to clarifying her relationship status, Katie also took to Instagram today to reveal that she was going into business with her sister Sophie, who had joined her at the NTAs.

As the couple sat side by side to discuss their business, the reality TV star insisted people were wrong and that she was “not the spirited” of her family.

In the video filmed for the new! magazine, Katie said of Sophie: “She’s like my mom – no bulls ** t! I’m definitely not the fiery family, my mom and sister are … bulldogs!”

“You’re organized, she gets things done and yeah that’s good. It’s a good combination,” Katie said, turning to her sister.

Sophie then joked that she used to steal her older sister’s style when they were younger.

“I used to nick his shoes and my bunion was digging them!” she laughed.

Katie added, “That’s how I knew she slashed my shoes and then my bags were going to disappear, and my clothes, but luckily that’s what the sisters do.”
