Several medical students from Patna Medical College and Hospital, PMCH, have gone on indefinite strike. According to allegations from students of PMCH, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, AKU intentionally failed 25 first-year medical students. At various government colleges in Bihar, more than 400 students have been declared failures by the AKU.

As a result, there has been an impasse between the students and the AKU administration regarding the future course of action that needs to be taken. While the university gave notifications to take additional exams, the students requested that the answer sheets be rechecked.

According to the information provided, out of 1,100 AKU medical students, 447 failed the exam. Following this, MBBS students from nine public colleges organize protests in front of the AKU administrative block. The university pointed out that the result is due to the stress taken by the students before the exam.

AKU reported results for medical students on August 30, 2021. According to PMCH students, the university should check the grade sheet of students who failed, and as a result, reasonable grades should be given to them. be awarded. The students also mentioned that to date there has been no communication from AKU University or the director of PMCH college on this matter.

The students also mentioned that to date no insurance has been provided to them by the hospital administration. From now on, the students have stressed that additional exams should be stopped and that there should be an immediate re-check of the papers of the students who failed. Following this, a new result must be given to the students.
