Shamita Shetty responds to allegation she treats Raqesh Bapat like her sidekick

On a recent episode of Bigg Boss OTT, Shamita Shetty responded to an accusation that she treats her Raqesh Bapat connection like a sidekick. Shamita and Raqesh admitted to loving each other, but he said they are just friends.

In a new promotional video shared on Instagram, Shamita was asked why she feels bad when people call her bossy or dominant, she uses her Raqesh connection as a jhamura (sidekick). Shamita said, I think I’m someone who gets my point across. Divya (Agarwal) and I didn’t get along, and it was hard for me to see my connection spending more time with her. When I don’t trust someone, it becomes difficult for me. Trust is a very, very big thing for me, and loyalty is a very, very big thing for me.

She added, But, going back to what you said, I would never want to suffocate someone in a relationship. When asked about their current relationship status, Raqesh replied with a laugh, Just friends, and Shamita agreed. Previously, she had told fellow competitor Neha Bhasin that it is obvious that the two love each other. He’s adorable but he seems very confused at times which bothers me a bit because I’m not confused. When I have made a decision, I stick to it, she says in Hindi.

Recently, Shamita’s mother entered the house and appeared to approve Raqesh. She said Raqesh is “such a sweet man, he’s a gentleman”. Shamita and Raqesh seemed to have been going through a rough time some time ago, and Shamita admitted to host Karan Johar that she is very confused about the situation and that maybe Raqesh wants out.
