Critics slam Twitter after the social media company checked the obituary of a young mother who attributed her death to a rare coronavirus vaccine-induced blood disease.

Twitter says this obituary is misleading. [on Twitter] we’re not afraid to follow the truth wherever it leads, unless of course it contradicts what Dr Fauci or the enlightened government and tech overlords say you need to do for your health care, ” Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy tweeted in response to the fact – obituary verified.

The fact-check came after an unverified Twitter account posted a link to the obituary, along with the caption: “Seattle, WA Jessica Berg Wilson, an exceptionally healthy and vibrant 37-year-old mother with no problems with underlying health, died of COVID vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia. She did not want to be vaccinated. ”

Twitter called the tweet “misleading” and provided information on “why health officials consider COVID-19 vaccines safe for most people.”

The obituary on Oregon Live says Wilson died on Sept. 7 of “COVID-19 vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT),” a blood clotting syndrome.

The obituary goes on to say that the mother of two daughters, aged five and three, was “strongly opposed to the vaccine” because she was healthy, young and not at risk of serious illness.

“In the last few weeks of his life, however, the world turned dark with binding vaccination mandates. Local and state governments were determined to take away his right to consult his wisdom and enjoy his freedom,” reads. one in the obituary, adding that “his freedom to choose has been taken away.”

“Her passion to become actively involved in the education of her children, which included being a roommate, was, once again, blocked by a government mandate. Ultimately, those who closed the doors and separated mothers from their children prevailed. It cost Jessica her life, “the obituary continues.

The tweet can no longer be replied to, shared or liked. The quotes tweet, however, is still active and has allowed critics to lambast Twitter for censoring an obituary.

Twitter did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
