Barcelona players unhappy with Koeman over public criticism

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman loses locker room support.

AS says Koeman’s criticisms of the players in public, as well as some aspects of the training, have not impressed the players.

Barca players are baffled by Koeman’s refusal to prepare for opposing teams in terms of style of play and tactics.

However, it was the coach’s public criticism that frustrated players the most.

Koeman hammers Nico Gonzalez after the defeat at Atletico Madrid did not go well. Indeed, the management group has already made a player speak to Nico after the coach’s comments in order to reassure him.

Koeman said last week that winning the Champions League would be “a miracle” for Barcelona and was not so optimistic about his La Liga chances. Comments that did not impress his team.
