The talent feud between Kodak Black and Megan Thee Stallion continued this week, with Kodak Black and his producer questioning Megan’s talent and creativity.
The mini-feud started a few months ago when, during an interview with DJ Akademiks for the Off The Record podcast, Kodak hinted that Megan stole the drive the fan movement from him and never got it properly. credited.
Megan tweeted “Yb is better ratio,” a popular reference to NBA Youngboy on Friday. She followed him up with two more tweets. The first one said “End hotties” and the second one said “You lost the period”.
While she didn’t mention any names, Kodak may have taken it personally since he and NBA Youngboy have been in a longtime beef.
The phrase “YB Better” comes from a marketing campaign in which Atlantic installed billboards with the slogan YB Better, prior to the release of the NBA Youngboy album. Since then, he’s been dropped in almost every other artist’s comments on social media.
However, it was Kodak producer Dyryk who blew Megan up on Instagram following her series of tweets, essentially accusing her of not writing her own music. (Megan has been criticized for her heavy use of niggers in the past.) In a live Instagram story, he posted the following: “@TheeStallion WAS ON YOUR WRITING CAMPS WITH ALL OF YOUR COMMAND WRITERS,” a he wrote in all caps. YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT THE TALENT BEHIND ANY OF YOUR RECORDS. GO HOLD THIS BOTTLE AND CUT THIS VERSE AGAIN, YOU DIDN’T MATCH THE REFERENCE THEY WRITE FOR YOU.
