DaBaby doesn’t seem to be able to stay out of the hot water this month, even if he’s not doing anything wrong. His past problems were brought back into the limelight when Dave Chappelle released his latest Netflix comedy special, “The Closer,” last week. On the controversial special, Chappelle discussed the fatal 2018 shooting the rapper was involved in. DaBaby’s concealed weapons charges were ultimately dismissed on the basis of self-defense. Chappelle also addressed the rapper’s homophobic rant during his set at the Rolling Loud music festival this summer.

Then last week he was accused of slipping into social media influencer Ms LaTruth’s DMs and attempting to spark an entanglement with the married woman. She opened Instagram on October 6 and let the Rockstar MC have it.

I DO NOT PLAY ON MY MARRIAGE. The ultimate disrespect for me is having someone intervene in your dm who 1) not only knows your husband, 2) was doing business with my husband, 3) I’m nobody BIHHH and 4 ) disrespect my husband and my marriage !!! Some would say you should just ignore it, but NAH is the ultimate disrespect that I can’t look past, Ms La Truth posted on IG last week.

DaBaby was quick to respond and professed his innocence.

Whichever one of you graphic designer n — s took my name and that blue check and created this fake muthaf —- n DM making me look like I’m trying to slip on somebody woman, you’re dead f —— g bad, n —– a. And I don’t even speak like that, pick up my lingo better next time and maybe that will make some bigger blogs. Don’t use my name to play with when it’s a married couple. Don’t put this type of problem on my plate. I don’t want trouble without a —— a woman, he revealed in an IG video.
