‘I don’t blame Pogba’ – Sorry for the Man United star, after yelling during the game

[ad_1]

Just over a week ago, France won the Nations League final with a 2-1 victory over Spain, despite an initial delay in the game.

Mikel Oyarzabal gave Spain the advantage just after the hour mark, after a few periods of loose play from Didier Deschamps. Paul Pogba was clearly furious with Benjamin Pavard, and the Manchester United midfielder was seen yelling at the Bayern Munich player.

Pavard was then pulled out and it was clear he wasn’t happy with the situation, getting a little upset as he took his place in the stands. After the win, reports suggested that the Bayern defender was annoyed that Pogba had singled him out so publicly during the game.

Now, with everything a little calmer and France able to mull over another trophy victory, Pavard took the opportunity to calm the situation down.

Speaking to French television, and quoted by L’Equipe, he said: “I watched the action several times, we talked about it again with Paul, he apologized for reacting that way. I am not moving well enough on this action, nor am I at a standstill and there could have been other player movements as well. We had a buy, I don’t blame him, we spoke after the game, everything is settled.

L’Equipe have a headline that says “I don’t blame Pogba”, and it’s clear that it’s an incident everyone wants to forget, which is a lot easier after a win.
