Halyna Hutchins’ father Anatoly Androsovych blamed the film crew for handing the actor a loaded gun rather than the Hollywood actor, according to an article published on Saturday.

“We still cannot believe that Halyna is dead and her mother is losing her mind in grief,” Androsovych told The Sun. “But I don’t hold Alec Baldwin responsible; it is the responsibility of the accessories that handle the weapons.

Baldwin fired a propeller pistol on Thursday that killed 42-year-old Hutchins and injured filmmaker Joel Souza on the set in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Baldwin was told he was safe to use the propeller pistol minutes before firing the bullet that killed Hutchins, according to a warrant request from the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.

The 63-year-old actor could face “serious” and potentially legal liability, legal experts told The Post.

Matthew, who had been married to Hutchins for 16 years, told The Post on Friday that the movie star had been “very supportive”.

Androsovych, a Ukrainian, noted that the two were in contact and that “Matt will decide whether legal action is going to be taken,” according to The Sun.

The grieving father is now pleading for his wife Olga and daughter Svetlana to travel to America to comfort Andros, Matthew and Halyna’s 9-year-old son, the outlet reported.

“The little boy was hit very hard,” Androsovych said. “He is lost without his mother.

Halyna Hutchins’ husband Matthew said Alec Baldwin had been “very supportive”.

On Saturday, crew members gathered in a vigil to mourn the “remarkable woman who was cut short too soon.”
