The rebuttal: However, social media users were quick to point out that multiple versions of the posters were circulating in China, complicating the initial narrative.

Although a version of the promotional posters shows Chen and not Duncan-Brewster, this promotional poster was not developed for the Chinese public but has also been used previously in Western countries.

Photos on social media show that both versions of the poster are circulating in China, just as they had been in Western countries.
