Police are asking for information to help locate wanted Cheltenham man Shane Walsh, 29.

Formerly of Townsend Street, Cheltenham, Walsh is wanted in connection with an assault which left the victim with facial injuries. He is also wanted with a view to being sent back to prison for previous offenses.

Walsh is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, tall, with short dark brown hair, a beard on his face, and blue eyes.

“Officers have conducted a number of investigations to locate Walsh but have not been able to locate him, which is why they are now asking the public for information,” a police spokesperson said.

“Walsh has ties to the regions of Cheltenham and Worcestershire.
