Ant Middleton dodges question after being kicked out of SAS: who dares to win

Ant Middleton launched a barrage of angry criticism against the bosses of SAS: Who Dares Wins after being kicked out of the series.

Channel 4 confirmed Ant’s departure from SAS: Who Dares Wins in March and said he would be leaving the hit show due to his “personal conduct”.

“After a number of discussions, Channel 4 and Minnow Films had with him regarding his personal conduct, it became clear that our views and values are not aligned and we will no longer be working with him,” the statement said. .

In his new book Mental Fitness, the 41-year-old claimed that producers no longer wanted “uncompromising alpha males from the military,” and knew he wasn’t happy with the way the series was changing. .

Ant Middleton said he was “miserable” while filming his latest series

“They knew I was going to jump so they pushed me first,” he fired, saying the “awake patrol” had changed the spectacle beyond recognition.

Ant said his relationship with the producers had gradually disintegrated and that by filming his last series in Scotland he was “miserable”.

“I had endured rather than enjoying it for a while and had to be convinced to do the last series by my management team,” Ant said, saying the series “got too scripted”.

Ant was removed from the show in March

“Health and safety had become too powerful. It had moved away from what had made it so fun and exciting to be a part of it, ”he raged.

Ant recalled several incidents while filming the brutal reality show in which he “banged his head” with the production crew over the health and safety protocol he said was “eroding” l authenticity of the show.

He was angry when some of the risky challenges – meant to push competitors to their limit – were “watered down”, and he couldn’t control the tasks, leaving him threatening to walk away.

He claimed that health and safety had an impact on the authenticity of the brutal challenges

He cited an incident in which recruits were thrown into an icy river, and after asking them to return, he was dismissed by health and safety chiefs on the plateau.

“Unless that changes, I’m leaving. I will leave the plateau. I cannot have my recruits interrupted halfway through a task. You will ruin the whole authenticity of the show. It is uncontrollable.

The argument was the last straw for Ant, and he issued a final warning to producers after being disappointed with the way the show was “run.”

He said he was banned from the show after raising his grievances to producers

“I even said the same to one of the producers. “You are going to get a call very soon. I don’t agree with the way the course is going. I no longer have the right to do my job. I went out, ”he fumed.

Six weeks later, the production company called their agents and they announced that they would no longer be working with the outspoken star, and he said the “Awakened Patrol” had won by removing him from. series.

“They were just doing what they felt they had to – protect their brand – although what that brand is now, I’m not too sure.

“The Awakened Patrol has its win, and I’ll be very interested to see where the series goes next,” he wrote.
