Busy Phillips is a little frustrated that the comments she made about Chis Pratt on her podcast recently made headlines, telling Insider that “it gets me down” when her conversations are “reduced to a title”.
On the November 9 episode of her podcast, “Busy Phillips Is Doing Her Best,” the actress discussed an Instagram post Pratt made the week before that paid tribute to his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt.
In the post, Pratt calls his wife for two years his “greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card”.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor also said his heart “belonged to him” and thanked her for giving him a “beautiful and healthy girl,” whom many fans have portrayed as Pratt comparing Lyla to her son Jack, who suffered a brain hemorrhage after being born prematurely.
As a result, according to Buzzfeed News, Jack has a non-life threatening heart condition as well as mild visual impairment. The 9-year-old is Pratt’s son from his previous marriage to Anna Faris, whom he was married to for eight years before divorcing in 2018.

Faris’ name even popped up on Twitter following Insider’s Lauren Frias and Claudia Willen post reporting that “many fans” were “offering words of support to the” Scary Movie “actress.”
Philipps told her co-host Caissie St. Onge, Emmy-nominated comedy writer, on their podcast that she found Pratt’s entire post “obnoxious.”
“I knew him once. I don’t know him now,” Phillips said, revealing that she had gone on vacation with Pratt and Faris. The actress also said Pratt was a “doomsday preparer.”
Phillips said that because social media is a “new medium,” people – like Pratt – “are going to make mistakes”
While promoting “The National Dog Show” presented by Purina, Philipps told Insider that the way the media chose to comment on Pratt was upsetting because Pratt’s comments were “complicated” and she and St. Onge recognized it.
“And so, it gets me down sometimes if Cassie and I have a 35-minute conversation about something that boils down to a title,” she said. “The point is, as the name of my podcast suggests, we all do our best to try to navigate what is essentially a new medium, and people are going to make mistakes and be cranky.”

“You have to be prepared to watch it, learn from it and do better,” Philipps said of any mistakes in life, whether it’s social media, raising kids, or even raising our pets. .
Philipps has learned many lessons while raising her children, Birdie and Cricket, which she shares with her husband, writer Marc Silverstein. But she still adapts to being a mother dog.
Her dog Gina was apparently a “surprise dog” that she welcomed into her home a day before the country was locked down last year.
Philipps said Gina has become “everything” for her family and the puppy will be watching “The National Dog Show,” presented by Purina, with them on Thanksgiving.
“She’s brought us so much comfort and joy – and she’s so funny,” the “Dawson’s Creek” actress exclaimed of her dog, who joined her for the interview.
“The National Dog Show,” presented by Purina, airs Thursday, right after Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade on NBC.
