MOSCOW, November 28. / TASS /. The allegations that Russia is considering attacking anyone are absolutely baseless, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told TASS on Sunday.

“The allegations that Russia is considering attacking anyone and berating that it behaves aggressively are absolutely unfounded and wrong,” he said, when asked to comment on the statement. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that Russian President Vladimir Putin “must say it publicly” that Russia is not considering attacking Ukraine.

“Russia has never hatched, does not hatch and will never make plans to attack anyone,” he said. “Russia is a peaceful country, which is interested in good relations with its neighbors.”

According to Peskov, allegations about Russia’s aggressive plans could be aimed at masking preparations for a force scenario in the Donbass. “We fear, and we have said it before, that these allegations are intended to hide [Ukraine’s] own preparations for a force scenario in the Donbass. It would be total recklessness, ”he said.

He noted that the anti-Russian hysteria stoked by the American, British and Ukrainian mass media and by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is unacceptable. “We believe that this hysteria, which is stoked in the American and British media, in the Ukrainian media and supported by Ukrainian politicians, including the head of state, is absolutely unacceptable,” he said.

He refrained from answering a question about a list of people subject to a prisoner exchange allegedly passed through Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. “As for the list, no comments,” he said, when asked if the Russian side had received such a list.
