20 years of invasion and war on their soil have prompted Afghans to criticize the “cruel” policies of the United States. The Afghans blame the United States for the many crises in their country. They say the many years of American presence have brought them nothing but corruption, discrimination, death and displacement. But more importantly, people are complaining about Washington’s role in the current crisis in Afghanistan.

Experts suggest that the Taliban should step up cooperation with countries in the region rather than the United States, and should learn from the failure of the previous government. They also believe that the Taliban should first strengthen national solidarity and legitimacy.

The United States is pushing Afghanistan to the brink of disaster by freezing nearly $ 10 billion in assets belonging to the Afghan central bank. It was then that the Taliban sent a high-ranking delegation to Doha to discuss these frozen assets and the reopening of foreign embassies, including the US embassy, ​​in Kabul.

The United States keeps the Afghan assets blocked while, according to the organs of the United Nations; Ninety-five percent of the population is food insecure and 97 percent is expected to live below the poverty line by 2022.
