Bridgewater critics silenced after Broncos’ latest win

[ad_1]

Sunday’s victory over the Los Angeles Chargers should put an end to criticism who did not like the Broncos’ acquisition of Teddy Bridgewater as quarterback.

Bridgewater battled a shin injury that brought him in and out of the game. Vic Fangio brought in Drew Lock to replace him, but struggled with turnovers. He threw a very bad interception at the end of the first half. It was just a reminder of how bad he was last year.

Bridgewater has shown he is dedicated and cares enough for the team to help them win perhaps their most critical game of the year. He completed 11 of 18 for 129 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for a touchdown.

Most importantly, he helped win the game. The Broncos are now 6-5 and have their most important game in the years to come when they face the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are 7-4 and lead the AFC West, but the Broncos are back in the game.

The beauty of Bridgewater is its calm efficiency. He might not have the strongest arm. Sometimes it doesn’t start quickly. But it did what CEO George Paton asked for when he acquired it. He brought the team back in the playoff photo.

He fought on an offensive line that had too many offensive linemen. Her numbers may not be great, but the team can now work to see where they stand in the playoff hunt with the Kansas City game.

Stay tuned.
