The post of Prime Minister Johnson was still a disaster waiting to happen. A swollen car driving recklessly through pedestrians and red lights; nothing under the bumper but the intoxicating fumes of smugness, greed and wickedness.
Before the British people elected Boris Johnson as Prime Minister in 2019, it was perfectly clear what kind of person he was. He had lied when he was a reporter, making up quotes for The Times. He had written articles calling Muslim women “letterboxes”, gay men “ass boys with a tank” and called black people “piccaninnies” with “watermelon smiles”. He had plotted to beat up a journalist he didn’t like.
We knew it and we voted on it anyway. Or rather, some of us have. I – and 10.3 million others – voted for Labor and Jeremy Corbyn.
I chose the self-effacing dude with a penchant for peaceful protests and jam-making. The person who wanted to make Britain a more compassionate, more egalitarian place that works for the benefit of all, not just a handful of former Etonians. Someone who inspired hope in those who had never felt represented in politics; who spoke on behalf of the vulnerable, the poor and the excluded.
Unfortunately, the jam maker was not very well heard. Sections of the British press have thrown every clod in their arsenal at him, out of – I would say – fear that people will listen to his message and decide that things might actually be a little different.
And people eventually decided they preferred to tie their cart to the horse of the Prime Minister who has been telling ridiculous untruths about £ 350million a week for the NHS after Brexit, and who declined to say how many children he had fathered. Perhaps they liked the idea of Boris bouncing and awkward, his blonde hair perpetually unbrushed. They thought he might have some funny stories in the pub – and maybe the jam0maker would try to lecture them on the importance of eating lentils, or something.
Well, the chickens made it home to roost. How much festive bullshit did the Conservatives get while the rest of us canceled our Christmas plans? Are we at number eight now? I hope they enjoyed the cheese and the wine, the happy secret Santa Claus, the “loud music” and the dancing until the early hours of the morning, while the recently bereaved spent Christmas completely alone and the people didn’t. could not even go to the funeral of their family members.
Johnson, the well-known stranger indeed, lied about the parties (the only other explanation, for a while, was that he’s too dumb to know when a “hoarse” knee kick happens in his own house) . He lied to Lord Geidt, the independent adviser on ministers’ interests, pleading ignorance about who spat out the money for his obscene renovation of the apartment, after begging a Tory donor for more money for his paper luxury painted on WhatsApp.

As there have been more than 140,000 Covid deaths in Britain due to a failed pandemic strategy, NHS staff warn our health service is on the verge of collapse – and only the The willfully (or completely clouded) blind people have the slightest faith in the integrity of this government – perhaps it is time to admit that there is a lesson to be learned here.
Instead of the jam maker who has dedicated his political career to justice, equality and genuine public service, we have chosen sordid and corruption, lies and selfishness.
We have chosen someone who “prefers to let the bodies pile up by the thousands” rather than accept a third confinement. Well, Johnson was pictured hosting a Christmas quiz at No 10 as social mixing was banned and bodies piled up in the thousands.
Maybe, just maybe, it’s the Christmas holidays and the sociopathic lies about them that will ultimately lay Johnson bare in the public consciousness as a truly unpleasant and unscrupulous moral vacuum of a man.
The Emperor has no clothes on, he’s just a pampered asshole who laughs at you or your loved ones. But you already knew that, didn’t you? All the evidence was there.
