Six women filed complaints alleging they were sexually harassed while working at Tesla and said the company “did not take sexual harassment seriously, from the top down.”

Six current and former Tesla employees have filed a lawsuit in Alameda County Superior Court alleging that they were subjected to constant sexual harassment from their co-workers and supervisors, according to a statement from their attorney.

Lawyer David A. Lowe said the women were “called out, ogled, inappropriately touched and offered” when six separate lawsuits were filed on behalf of the women on Tuesday.

Five of the employees work or have worked at the Tesla plant in Fremont, Calif., While another was employed at service centers in Southern California. The women who filed the lawsuits are named Michaela Curran, Alize Brown, Jessica Brooks, Alisa Blickman, Samira Sheppard and Eden Mederos

Curran alleged that his direct supervisor told him to “shake [her] ass’ for him. She also claimed that he told her that with her “big ass” she should dance like a stripper.

Brown, who started working at Tesla after giving birth to a baby, alleges that a colleague called her a “cow” who “milks”. Lowe said the coworker called her butt a “wagon.” She also alleged that when she complained to her supervisor, who she said would look her body up and down, he treated the incidents “like a joke”.

Brooks detailed an incident and alleged that HR told her they were aware of the accusations when she reported the sexual harassment of her co-workers and that they did nothing to alleviate it. She says she was then moved from her desk and had to learn a new type of job.

Tesla did not immediately respond to The Hill’s request for comment.

The lawsuits come a month after another sexual harassment lawsuit was filed by Tesla employee Jessica Barraza, who spoke out against the dangerous environment for women.

“Jessica’s story gave her colleagues the courage to come forward,” said one of the plaintiffs’ attorneys, William Jhaveri-Weeks.

He added that “These many similar experiences show that this is a systemic problem at Tesla. No one deserves to be treated this way at work.”

The lawsuits also come just a day after Tesla CEO Elon MuskElon Reeve MuskHillicon Valley – The security agency investigates Amazon’s facility collapse. on Biden’s diary, MORE was named “Person of the Year” by Time Magazine.

Barraza alleged that the workplace culture at Tesla is influenced from above, and previously explained how a joke tweet written by Musk spoke about starting a new university and naming it Texas Institute of Technology & Science, which allegedly l acronym TITS.

“That doesn’t set a good example at the factory – it almost sounds like a…” he tweets about it, that must be OK, “” Barraza told the Washington Post. “It’s not fair to me, to my family, to the other women who work there.”
