Ryan Nemeth found success in AEW, but almost ten years ago he was part of the WWE Development System as Briley Pierce.
Dolph Ziggler’s younger brother has made a few appearances as a behind-the-scenes interviewer on NXT TV. Things haven’t worked out in NXT for Nemeth, but that doesn’t mean he has a negative outlook on his time there. He replied to a fan who criticized his old ring name,
Nemeth then went on to discuss the talent pool that was in NXT at the time. He touched on all the major events from NXT and those currently in AEW.
Hell, my name was awesome

Oh you didn’t like MY ERA of development? The one with The Shield and the Wyatt family and the Women’s Revolution and half of AEW’s current roster? Oh good? That one? You weren’t in it?
(We picked our names as well, you absolute assholes.)
I repeat: bend over.

Fans love this period of development so much (but they also hate this period of development)
They say but remember how awesome OVW was (but they also hate boring OVW graduates)
Hey… maybe you just want to be mad at things?
Just say that?

Don’t you think Mox, New Day, Seth, Brodie, PAC, Dax, Charlotte, Sasha, Serena, Naomi, Trent, Colt, Sami (and so many others) are amazing talents? Or Bryan Danielson? These are just a few of the people of the ages that you confuse and dismiss.
Foolish!
Do you like… something?

Nemeth worked at FCW and then later at NXT during his three-year stint in WWE. He is a former FCW Tag Team Champion and made his promotional debut with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year.
