A group of young people from the All Progressives Congress issued an ultimatum for the dismissal of the CEO of the Progressives Governors’ Forum

The group said the PGF CEO was working with the opposition and a few selfish ruling party members to sabotage activities within the APC.

According to the group, Salihu Lukman is a mole working within the APC but serving the interests of the PDP

Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) CEO Salihu Lukman has been accused of working with as yet unidentified forces to sabotage all efforts by President Muhammadu Buhari to hold the All Progressives Congress (APC) together.

APC’s Youth Solidarity and Development Forum described Lukman as a mole working to sabotage the president’s efforts.

In a statement signed by the forum’s general secretary, Tobias Ogbeh, and seen by Legit.ng, Lukman is understood and serves the selfish interests of a few members within the party and those in the opposition.

Calling for the dismissal of Lukman as CEO of the PGF, the forum said that Lukman’s recent letter aims to destabilize the party and give the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) an advantage ahead of next year’s general election.

Ogbeh alleged that the PGF CEO planned to sponsor disbelievers to disrupt the Guardian’s Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and shut down all activity at the party’s national secretariat.

He said:

“We find it very unfortunate that the DG has decided to exploit the moment chosen for the national convention of our great party to use his poisoned goods by pretending to make a legitimate intervention.”

The APC group therefore declared Lukman as an enemy of the APC, adding that it no longer had any business with the leaders and members of the party.

Ogbeh added;

“Part of the plans for his well-oiled slander campaign against the party is to sponsor disbelievers to shut down all activity at the party’s national secretariat along with some of the thugs already briefed to organize a similar paid protest at the Presidential Villa.”

He did, however, threaten that CPA members across the state would revolt if Lukman remained in post beyond the next seven days.

The forum further issued a seven-day ultimatum to the PGF to sack Lukman or deal with a revolt by party members in the CPA-controlled states.

Ogbeh said:

“Only such a decisive assertion of party authority will send the message that no form of indiscipline and attack on party interests will be tolerated.” Continue on the path of repositioning the APC, says Prince Audu to Buni

The interim CPA leadership headed by Governor Buni continues to receive praise from prominent party members.

One of those members is a former candidate for governor of Kogi state, Prince Mohammed Audu, who visited the governor of Yobe.

Prince Audu noted that Governor Buni stabilized the APC ship and continued its giant strides in Yobe.
