Manchester United players are said to be unhappy with the club due to the management of Ralf Rangnick, but one of them denounced the information.

Rangnick lost his first game since taking over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in December when his side lost 1-0 to Wolves on Monday night.

However, Brazilian midfielder Fred has now restored the balance, with the 28-year-old taking to social media to say he has no issues with the manager.

“Over the past few days, I have read several fake news involving my name and other MUFC athletes,” the former Shakhtar player said on Twitter.

“I’m not used to responding publicly to controversial things, but this time I’m going to have to.

“I just want to say that I am very happy here and I have never expressed any dissatisfaction or the possibility of leaving the club.

“Do not be misled by fake news. We will continue to work with great dedication to further our goals.”

Fred had his problems at Old Trafford and never lived up to the $ 50million price Jose Mourinho spent on the midfielder in 2018.

However, the midfielder remains the area of the pitch in which fans and pundits believe United are the weakest and the Brazil international and his partner Scott McTominay have been particularly criticized.

Rangnick would undoubtedly like more of his players to come out and make their feelings known, having recently asked Anthony Martial to speak if he wanted to leave.

The former RB Leipzig boss would probably like it even more if they started producing performances on the pitch though …
