Marcus Rashford insists he has “infinite respect” for interim Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick, following reports of dissatisfaction in the locker room at Old Trafford – and pledged to improve his own performances this season.
Rangnick replaced former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November but failed to improve the club’s results, with United now seventh in the Premier League following Monday’s 1-0 loss to Wolves.
Rumors of a possible summer exodus from Old Trafford continue to circulate, with up to 17 players currently unhappy with the club, according to The Daily Mail.

Rashford, however, insists he is fully committed to United and is determined to prove his worth having managed just three goals in all competitions so far this season.
In a moving message on his Twitter account, Rashford wrote: ‘I read something earlier that said I had been silent here but what can I say that will make this better than showing you on the pitch ?
“We have all been disappointed with the recent performances and we have also been disappointed by the media coverage questioning our commitment not only to the manager and the coaching staff, but to the club.
“I have infinite respect for both and look forward to improving my game with the Manchester United staff.
“I’m not sulking, I’m not unhappy, am I disappointed with some of my performances? Of course I am.
“I’m my own biggest critic. It was a tough start but I’m determined to prove my worth.
“My dedication and desire to be here should never be questioned. I love this club.”
According to The Daily Mirror, cliques have emerged within the United squad and Rangnick now faces “a lot of the same issues” as Solskjaer.
It is claimed that many United players have been disappointed with the German’s training and are “unimpressed” by his tactics.

However, Rangnick insists his players are trying to factor in his training.
“They’re at least trying, I’m sure they’re listening,” he said.
Responding to reports he had disgruntled players in his dressing room, Rangnick added: “Well I mean it’s not just a problem with a club like Manchester United.
“If you have that many players and 10 outfielders can play and three are substituted, then of course you have a fairly large number of players – in our case 12, 13, 14 players who are not even playing, or who are not even in the squad.
“Then these players are not happy with this situation. It’s obvious, it’s clear.
“I tend to explain to players every two or three weeks why they don’t play, but obviously I can’t do it every game and it’s a problem in our team as well as in other clubs.”
United will face Aston Villa on Monday in the FA Cup third round.
