HYDERABAD: Reacting on Sunday to allegations by Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma that there is a lack of development and vacancies are not being filled in Telangana, MLC K Kavitha reminded Sarma that unemployment reached 8% in India under the BJP regime. “Himanta ji, your remarks today have once again reaffirmed the intention of the BJP to erase the glorious history of Telangana. I wonder why you and your party are so threatened by the idea of unity? Have you forgotten the Telangana verdict in 2018, where the BJP lost deposits on 107 seats (sic), ”Kavitha tweeted.
Emphasizing how programs such as Mission Bhagiratha, Rythu Bandhu and Kalyana Lakshmi were replicated by the governments of various states as well as the Center, she said the point was that the BJP was implementing these programs by changing their names.
