Riot Games investigates TSM owner Reginald into bullying allegations

According to a WIRED report, TSM Founder and CEO Andy “Reginald” Dinh is currently under investigation by Riot Games on charges of workplace bullying.

“We are aware of the allegations regarding the CEO / owner of TSM,” Riot Games said in an email to WIRED. “As the operator of the league, we have engaged the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers LLP to conduct an independent investigation into the allegations of misconduct against the leader of this team, in accordance with the standard league process. . ”

Riot Games reportedly launched an investigation into the esports veteran in late 2021, after several current and former TSM employees claimed Reginald bullied and verbally assaulted them. At the same time, TSM confirmed to have launched its own investigation. Among his alleged actions, sources claimed that Reginald called some employees after work to yell at them, calling them “worthless” or “stupid,” and was known to openly berate workers in front of other staff members.

The news comes after years of criticism from the League of Legends community as well as esports figures over Reginald’s behavior towards members of his company. Former TSM League of Legends champion Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng made statements similar to those in the most recent report regarding the investigation.
