We’ve seen some pretty awful scripts and storylines from Joss Whedon over the years, but insinuating that Rays’ role was cut because it didn’t make sense in the movie and he’s a bad actor AFTER HAVING SAW THE MOVIE!!! MLK day has to be his worst yet #IstandWithRayFisher pic.twitter.com/p85FN6Uqr7

In the interview, Whedon also claimed that Snyder influenced Fisher and seeded the idea that Whedon was, among other things, racist in his actions while creating Justice League. Needless to say, this idea was not well received by fans. Fisher has been unwavering in his commitment to accountability for what happened in the Justice League reshoots, and the timing from Whedon’s perspective – roughly a year and a half after Fisher’s first statements – seems too much. little, too late.
As of this writing, Fisher has not commented on these new developments. From an outsider’s perspective, it’s hard to tell exactly what happened on the set of the Justice League reshoots. Those showing their support for Fisher were not there. However, Fisher’s support from others on set, as well as those who told stories about Whedon’s bad behavior on previous projects like Buffy, gave the actor’s words more weight than they did. to those of Whedon. As of now, Whedon’s interview has done little to repair his reputation, with fans remaining pretty firmly on Fisher’s side.
