Boris Johnson is facing serious allegations (

The occupiers of Downing Street still do not understand why the public is outraged by their behavior.
The allegations against Boris Johnson and his team are not insignificant.
They are accused of ignoring Covid regulations which they expected the rest of the country to follow.
Their disregard for the rules is bad enough, but their refusal to acknowledge the pain they have caused is reprehensible.
Johnson’s defenders claim the No10 party was overdone.
By dismissing it all as insignificant – he was only eating a cake, they are showing contempt for those who have sacrificed so much during lockdown.
It is not disproportionate to expect those who make the laws to respect them.
Nor is it disproportionate to expect them to treat the charges with the seriousness they deserve.

When the UK withdrew from Kabul, we left behind thousands of Afghans whose lives were threatened by the Taliban.
Some of them might have made it to Britain if priority had not been given to air transport animals from animal charity Pen Farthings.
Boris Johnson claimed it was complete nonsense that he intervened on behalf of Farthings.
Now an email has emerged from a government aide which shows the Prime Minister has authorized the animals to be evacuated.
Downing Street still denies that is the case.
This denial would carry more weight if Johnson didn’t have such a history of lying.
Putting the animals ahead of the Afghans who had served our forces was shameful.
To lie then would be dishonorable.
