The Prime Minister said that following consultation with the alleged victims, they granted him permission to disclose the type of complaints against Fritz.

CAPE TOWN – Western Cape Premier Alan Winde has confirmed suspended Community Safety MEC Albert Fritz is facing allegations of sexual misconduct.
Winde made the announcement on Sunday after being tight-lipped about the nature of the allegations this week until rumors started making the rounds.
The Prime Minister said that following consultation with the alleged victims, they granted him permission to disclose the type of complaints against Fritz.
Fritz’s alleged victims have since been linked with a specialist NGO for further advice.
Winde however reiterated that he would not release the names or form of sexual misconduct, in order to protect everyone involved.
His office turned the case over to attorney Jennifer Williams for an independent investigation.
Winde said the option of bringing criminal charges against Fritz remained firmly on the table but would depend on the outcome of the investigation.
